Mean is the average, take all of the numbers then you add them
Divided by how many numbers you added and that’s the average.

Say you have 3,7 and 11 add them up that’s 21 / 3 end up with 7
Say its 3, 17, 7. Add them up that’s 44 / 4 you get 11.
Median, go in order the numbers the least to greatest and you’ll
find that its the number directly in between of them.

With Range you just a, subtract the least from the greatest, because
range is just the difference between the least and the greatest.

Now lets take all of the definitions that I stated. Apply it to line of
five numbers and watch me demonstrate it and with five numbers
here’s the the ones I’m taking, 5, 9, 7, 9, 80. Add them up, go
grab a pen and work it with me. Add them up you get 110 the first
step of the mean. After you add them up, divide them by how many
numbers you added. Divide that by 5 and find 22 is the average.
Hold up Mr. D, I thought we were after the mean? You know what
it just happend to average, it means the same thing. Now take
the same set of numbers that we used to find the mean, line them up
from least to greatest and the median is in between. With the set
of five numbers the number five inside, the middle number is the
median, no need to divide. From least to greatest in a line
5, 7, 9, then another 9, then 80, ok hey what did you find?
You better end up with 9, because the 9 lies between the 80 and
the 9, the 7 and the 5. With the mode meaning most once again
that’s 9, because that’s the only number in the row more than
one time. Range, take away the least from the greatest 80-5.
End up with 75.
