Lyrics – Measurement

By Daniel Joseph Duey

Measurements

Verse 1 Centimeters
Centimeters… ce, ce, centimeters
Do you really want to talk about centimeters?
Centimeters is about the width of your fingertip. If you want to
measure centimeters that’s what you use for it. If you’re using a
ruler, with numbers on both sides the centimeter numbers are
closer together, no surprise. Why? Why would you measure in
centimeters? It’s the size. Can help you to figure out, the size of
your fries. So if you have to share your fries, you can get the
biggest ones because you measured them right.
Centimeters… ce, ce, centimeters

Verse 2 Meters
REMIX!!! Meter, meter, meter, I’m the biggest one
Yup, take your arms stretch them far as you can. That’s the size
of a meter around a hundred ‘cm’. ‘cm’ is for centimeter and
meter is ‘m’. Both are used for measurement, one is small and
one is big. Let me tell you how, you figure out how to get the
biggest one, meters? Centimeters is a hundred of ‘em. You got
it? Good we’re done, now Mr. Duey can move on to the inch.

Verse 3 Inches
In America, we measure by using an inch.
In America, we have to measure in inches. About the size of
three centimeters to be specific. And if you really want to know
just measure your toe. I bet you it’s about an inch, if not it’s pretty
close. That’s how it goes. When it comes to this I’m a pro.
Because if you come up with twelve inches you know, that, that
equals a foot, because one foot is twelve inches, read it in your
math book.
In America we measure by using an inch.

Verse 4 Perimeter
Now, that we learned how to measure in centimeters and we
learned how to measure in inches. Now were going to learn how
to measure around an object. It’s called perimeter, listen.
With perimeter you have to measure each side, each side add
them up and we find perimeter perimeter that’s perimeter
perimeter perimeter that’s perimeter.
With perimeter we have to measure each side one at a time
Write them down, add ‘em up and what do you find? Perimeter,
perimeter, that’s perimeter. Perimeter, perimeter, that’s perimeter
