Lyrics – Essays
By Daniel Joseph Duey
Essays
Verse 1
You want to write an essay in perfect form first you must…
Brainstorm, you need to come up with ideas go ahead and think
about it until it’s something you feel. Once you got it, your topic,
you write it down on top of the top line. Now you’re ready for your
outline. With your outline get yourself a thesis together. Your
thesis covers the topic of the subject matter. After that, write your
three main ideas with enough information so your paper is filled.
Next you write a rough draft, get someone to look it over go
ahead and ask the teacher of the class. Last, you need to edit it.
Fix all of your mistakes, print it off and then you hand it in.
Chorus
Your paper’s due tomorrow, thinking it’s too late, playing video
games you procrastinate, but that’s okay. Mr. Duey’s ‘bout to fill
you in on how to write an essay – what’s an essay?
Write about whatever you feel – what’s an essay?
Come up with some main ideas – what’s an essay?
Rough draft, revise and rewrite.
Mr. Duey’s ‘bout to fill you in on how to write an essay.
Verse 2
Introduction, body of the paper and the conclusion, these are the
three steps you should be using. I said, introduction, body of the
paper and the conclusion, these are the three steps you should
be using. With an introduction paragraph start off with the lead.
Something really catchy for your readers to read. Then a few
more sentences to lead up to the thesis. The thesis summarizes
the whole thing. With the body you elaborate the main ideas a
couple paragraphs the main idea should fill but still you need to
sum it up with a con-cu conclusion like the chorus I am kickin’ to
this music
