64 Bars – Lyrics

Lyrics – 64 Bars

By: Daniel Joseph Duey

Intro
Mix tape Monday. Mr. D, it’s so cold in the D freestyle.

Verse 1
I’m Mr. Duey. You haven’t heard about me? The one
rapping about Fractions on your PC screen. Thought it
was a, one time thing, I dropped a seventeen song LP to
give you what you need to succeed. Who can do it better
than me? I do it better than the best on the planet, no,
the galaxy. Be prepared this year. It’s so cold in the D and
half the reason isĀ  my lyrics are below zero degrees.
Mr. Freeze, I’m the Iceman. So I’m taking vacations in the
winter somewhere warm to get a nice tan. Hitting the mic
stand, applauding at my metaphors, because of course they
are better than yours. Like deodorant I’m that Sure. If you’re
in school getting D’s and E’s, well I got the cure. Remedy,
M R D U E Y.com, you get what you pay for. Surf me on the
Internet like a wake board. I grind like a skateboard.
TeacherTube.com, most viewed I’m ranked four, haven’t
bought the CD, well what you still waiting for. Waiting for me to fall off?
I’m a mega don, bigger than Megatron. Like Billy Madison,
I win any academic decathlon. I battle on until the day I get my
props for how I put on. I put on for my city where I teach it’s the best man.
Adam’s Family Middle School Wayne-Westland.
Imitators, imitating me put them to sleep like the Sandman, I kick it
like American Bandstand. My manager couldn’t be happier and so is
my fam. I’m doing shows stacking grands, wrap them in rubber bands.
There isn’t no other man to do it like I can, even if they follow the
same path or had the same plan. I’m not ashamed that I’m educated.
I ashamed to get this fame it took me this long to make it. The most
slept on, most under rated. But at any given time, any one of my
rhymes can hang with the greatest. I’m so close to blowing up
I can taste it. That’s why I’m always in the studio, chilling in the
basement. Cooking up great hits, sweeter than cake mix, leave
you salty like steak tips and snow trucks running on pavement.
My payment, anything less than a 5 million dollar deal I’m not
taking it. Cash like leaves falling in autumn I’m raking it. The
industry is dice in the palm of my hand, I’m shaking it.
Making it hard for you to breathe when you see a player like me
spitting like I’m loosing my teeth. Two college degrees, a 9 to 5
and I teach seventh grade math and you still don’t know the
half of me. With me you see I teach and think that it could just
not be. A true MC, true indeed, yup I speak it fluently and
you to me, through my eyes what I see if you disagree, with
what I do with these schools to help these kids heal the streets.
Your a part of the problem. I’d rather see them getting jobs
instead seeing them rob them. Economy already hit rock bottom
and people raising kids not caring if they can even solve a math
problem. You following? Most are I can tell by the sales, it feels
good to see the youth of America do well and I’m glad I played
a part of it, didn’t take to long to get a half of million views on
TeacherTube, where’s my sponsorship? I want to get a condo
with an in-ground pool for Dominic so my son can kick back
and live the life that I bound to live and all my wife has to worry
about is where she’s shopping in. I’m launching like a rocket ship
and there’s no stopping it. Let the beat drop, I’ll get four more
bars in to show you once I speed it up there is no pausing it, the
cause of it, how raw it is, like Eastern Market fish is that
I kick a song without a chorus and it’s still a hit.

Outro
